THE HISTORICAL TOWN GAS FACTORY ART CENTRE
The Historical Town Gas Factory constructed in Alsancak 150 years ago by French people has been converted into a brand new art centre following the restoration and environmental arrangement-related work carried out by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality.
Within the scope of the Town Gas Factory Restoration Project, all the structures were demolished except the officially registered ones on the 2.850 m2 construction area. The sympatheticallyrestored registered structures began to be used as an art centre.
