Murat Mansion
The mansion was built by one of the members of the English Edwards family in 1880. The building was turned over to the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in 2001. It was then restored and allocated to the Aegean University in 2005.
The Murat Mansion, known as the “Community Centre” continues to serve the “study of public university” concept as a communication and meeting center for student groups and social welfare projects.
