The theme of this year’s Metal-Mediated Efficient Organic Synthesis Conference is organometallic chemistry with emphasis on organic reactions and novel metal-mediated methods toward synthesis of high-value-added organic products. The symposium will host around 30 outstanding scientists from Asia and Europe presenting their latest findings. A poster session will also be held to allow researchers from academia and industry to share information.
Since the very First Asian-European Meeting in Göttingen, Germany (Japanese-German Symposium) organized by Professors Armin de Meijere and Motokazu Uemura in 1996, the meeting has been held seven times in Japan, Germany, France, Singapore and Spain. It has become a biennial event since 2008.
In the tradition of its highly successful predecessors, AES-MMEOS 2014 aims to create an environment of exchange and dissemination of scientific advances in the field of metal-mediated organic synthesis at the highest level.
The venue is Çeşme, a beautiful resort town located on the Aegean cost of İzmir Province of Turkey. The town is surrounded by beaches of turquoise waters and in close distance to a number of antique historical sites.
