Quarter’s majority part is students. It hosts Ege Üniversitesi (Ege University) which was established in 1955. The beautiful architecture of the manor and the gardens of the Levantine who lived in the region before the Republic bring the past to the present. Combined with the modern structure of the quarter these features mark its typical identity.
