







Another art centre that the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality contributed to the city is the Bornova Art Centre located in the Bornova Atatürk Neighbourhood. The Art Centre that was launched for service in 2008 plays an important role particularly in bringing together the citizens there with cultural and artistic activities. On the basement floow of the 3-storey Bornova Cultural Centre built on a total of 2.930 m2 area is a parking lot for 25 vehicles, a shelter, a service area and on the ground floor is a 170-seat meeting room, a 224-seat dining room and a kitchen. On the first floor of the building is a 400-seat conference room as well as an educational room and a game room along with administrative offices.
